Based On Real Ballpoint Pens
From real ballpoint pen strokes, and paper, then scanned at 300dpi. Imported to Photoshop, Procreate, and Clip Studio Paint to be analyzed, and created to get the final brushes as close as possible to the real ballpoint pens.
These Ballpoint Pen brushes replicates real life ballpoint pens, with some improvements, and spin-offs! No running out of ink, drying, nor clogging (of course).

5 Ballpoint Pens RL
RL means Ruled Line. four ruled, and one graph line brushes based on the five main Ruled Paper Textures. I recommend you use these brushes with the Plain Paper Textures to vary, and have more control on how you want your notebook paper texture to look like.
- Available for Photoshop, Procreate, and Clip Studio Paint.
12 Ballpoint Pens WC
WC means With Color. A real black ballpoint pen is not truly black in color, and so each brush in this set has a specific color saved in the brush tool settings for the purpose of replicating a real ballpoint pen’s color.
There are also 2 brushes called EcoBall Blue, and EcoBall Red, that you can use right away when you need a blue or red ballpoint pen brush.
- All 12 brushes with color are available only for Photoshop.
- All 12 brushes are available for Clip Studio Paint, and only Ecoball Blue, and Ecoball Red are with color.
10 Ballpoint Pens NC
NC means No Color. Same brushes as Ballpoint Pens WC, but No color is saved in the brush tool settings. Use in combination with the color swatches.
- Available for Photoshop, and Procreate. Procreate doesn't have the "NC"
10 Ballpoint Pens XX
All brushes are at a 20% size. If you prefer to work with bigger brush size this is the
version you can use.
- Available only for Procreate.
COLOR SWATCHES:

All swatches are based on real ballpoint pen colors with different adjustments to create variations. Instead of using black use the swatches to have a more organic, and realistic ballpoint pen look in your art.
Tip: You can use this swatch if you use the Ballpoint pens NC to play with the colors.
